Colossians 2:19

"And not holding the Head, form which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God." --Colossians 2:19

To me this is saying that our head has to be God. Without having God in our lives we cannot do anything, we cannot stand, be nourished, and have fellowship. It is impossible to be alive (spiritually) without God being our head. He has to be part of our life for us to accomplish anything. So, above all, love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
