WAR

Warisn't necessarily a good thingbut it has too be done. Although people tend to think it is bad thats because thars all theyv'e heard is the negative and its all the news reports. One thing is that you cant have peace without having a war first. I personally like the peace but it seems to never last.

  • hey babyluvWWJD...did Jesus ever condemn war? how many wars were in the Bible? how often was David, who was 'a man after God's own heart' in war? i think amurphybm puts it pretty plainly...with war some people die. but if we do not defend ourselves and those who can't defend themselves (if you want to quote scripture, you're asking for it), then we would ALL die!

  • beatitude- that's just it, to promote peace, there must be war! War isn't wrong, we're defending ourselves! If we called back all our troops to come home you know what would happen in a matter of days? WE WOULD BE DEAD!!! Those terrorists would come right over here and blow us to bits. If we didn't fight back in defense, there would be no hope!

  • personally i believe that in the subject of the war going on now overseas yes it was needed! bc they can't expect us to get attacked with no reply. i love the song american soldier bc it says when liberty in jeopardy i will always do whats right i'll stand out on the frontlines so sleep in peace tonight... so many have given their lifes so that we can remain going about our lives and well i am in awe of them! i respect any of those who go into the armed forces. my ex but really close friend now is leaving soon and i couldn't be prouder of him! so i totally agree with you!
